I take my photos and, with some computer magic, create sun catchers from them

3D printed jewelry, keychains, toys and other original designs
3D printing is so new that the art world is just catching up to it. Please enjoy the creations I create on my computer then sculpt with a 3D printer. The vases take somewhere between 4 and 12 hours to print, depending on the size, so it's not a fast process, but I think it's worth the time.
Hi! I’m new to Tucson’s art scene and am still learning the ropes, so please bear with me while I figure things out. A little about me, I moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1993 after graduating from Lehigh University with a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering to work at Honeywell Aerospace as a Circuit Designer. It was there that I met my husband of 27 years, Tim, who was brave enough to adopt 10, 14, and 21-year-old boys with me in 2007. Now we have 7 wonderful grandchildren (Noah, Willow, Nathan, Lance, Silas, Solomon and Grace) ranging in ages from 13 years to just under 3 months.
I fell in love with photography when I got my first ’real’ camera for my 50th birthday on a whim! When my husband got a 3D printer for his 50th a year later, I learned I could take my photos and create 3D printed sun catchers from them (technically called lithophanes). After that, I started making other types of 3D printed artwork like vases, ornaments, toys, and jewelry. Right now, it’s just me (with support from my husband,) running and maintaining the 3D printers, building the website, and creating the 3D models, so please be patient while I get everything together and on the website.
